(narrative essay) Leaving home

He took a deep breath, turned his eyes on his home for the last time. With a small backpack, Khang started to leave his home. Of course, no one in the world want to leave their family to lead a life of a wanderer. But Khang did it. The twelfth-year-olds  boy walked along the street, the anger on his face was still showing clearly. He promised himself that he would never return to meet his father again. “How could he be so cruel? He always yells at me, never buys me any toys, never lets me go out with friends, I hate him!”
Khang walked and walked  without any intention to stop. However, when the sun started to set, he felt tired, hungry and a bit exhausted. He sat flat on the sidewalk to have a rest. “Are you leaving home?”, Khang turned his head curiously to the direction of the voice and  saw an old man with a kind-hearted face. “How did you know that?”, Khang asked, still surprised about the question. Slowly, the old man sat near Khang and began to tell him “ Because I used to leave home when I was a kid like you”.
Then, he looked up in the sky, started his story “ I used to think that my father hate me because he always yell at me and beat me when he thought I did something wrong. He once promised that he would buy me a bicycle if I got good mark from the final test. I still remember the destiny day, I was so happy after getting good results from the test. I informed that good news to my father, waited for a gift to come. However, he looked at me and said that “Sorry my  son, I can’t afford to buy you this gift”. Hey little boy, do you know what I reacted at that time?"
Being attracted by the story, Khang had a little startle when he was asked all of a sudden. The little boy sputtered: "I...I do not know. Do you leave home... as I did?"
The old man smiled his approval, then continued the story: "I was so disappointed, I cried a lot and hated him so much, I ran as fast as I could to get out of the house… He could not catch me because he was so old. I wandered aimlessly, felt hungry and tired but I never intend to come back. Suddenly, someone collided with me and I quickly realized he was my father’s co-worker. He looked a bit surprised when he saw me and said that an accident had happened to my father when he tried to seek me. I was speechless and realized how wrong I was, how much I love him, I thought about the future, how would my life become without him, I ran like the wind to the hospital. Fortunately, my father still alive, he was just slightly injured and gave me a warm smile. I was so happy because that was the biggest gift I had ever had in my life”. When the story ended, the tears appeared on Khang’s cheeks. The old man smiled gently “do you understand what I mean, good boy”. Khang nodded his head, expressed his thanks to the old man and ran as fast as he could to come back home.
The poor father was standing in front of the house, yelling at Khang when he saw the little son “Where did you go, do you know how much I worried…”.  The father did not have chance to finish his words, Khang gave him a big hug and whispered “I love you, daddy”.

(descriptive essay) The person I love

When I was a curious little girl, I often asked adults everything I did not feel clear to understand. They explained anything to me whenever I asked them. However, when I mentioned about “love”, they just answered : “ it is very hard to define, you will understand when you grow up”.  Time goes by, I go through so many thing , have different views in sensational aspects. I used to belief a lot, love a lot and what I got was the big disappointment in people’ soul. I used to be asked “who do you love?” and my answer used to be: “this guy”, “ that guy”. Now, although I love and loved in returned by an hornest boy, I had enough acknowledgement to understand this kind of love will not last forever. As a result, the person I love now and forever is always my great mother.
She is a beautiful woman. She has a round face with arc-eyebrow like a rainbow. I always think that what impresses the most is my mother’s eyes. Her eyes have something so difficult and mystery to describe. I still remember one day of my thirteenth, when I came home late for the first time without asking for her permission, I intended to tell a lie because I was so afraid of being punished! However, I could not help telling the truth when I looked at her eyes. Although she is a middle-aged woman, her eyes are so strong , junoesque and her hair always goes down to the shoulder. Having two children, she still has a pretty neat figure because she does exercises everymorning.
She is a kind-hearted and erudite woman, this characteristic is written all over her face as the way she deals with people, the way she teaches me how to behave in life. When I was at awkward age, I used to be so oppinionated, I did not realize how wonderful my mother was. She kept silent when I sometimes protected my own opinion and she let me come face to face with reality. After several years, I realized that I was so superficial and she started to teach me at my age of eighteenth. From that time till now, I have received a lot from my mother. When I feel hopeless and want to fall down, she lifts me up, teaches me how to forgive and believe, change me from a shy girl to a confident and optimistic person.  She opens a new world to my mind, she gives me a higher degree in the concepts of altruism, love, mercifulness.
Living far from my mother, I always remember all the lessons she taught me. I will never forget how she wanted me to treat people as the way I want to be treated, how she wanted me to help people without hoping for any respond. I do not know how to describe my happiness when I have such a great mother in my life, I love her so much and I hope all the children in the world realize how wonderful their mother is.

what is the most important invention

“What is the most important invention?” seems to be a simple question but there is no exact answer that satisfy all people around the world. While the development of the society is going on, there are a lot of inventions created by the talents, from a small invention like electric chip to the big one like airplane. Although more and more inventions are created year after year, it is still internet which becomes the most important invention in my view because the benefit of internet has become certain.
Internet is mostly used as a fastest and convenient way to get information. The internet has become the best source of information because you can easily find almost everything you want to know, to read, to learn through search engines and get the results in two or three seconds. There is no need getting out of home to buy magazines  or waiting for the mailman to put newspaper in your mailbox every morning, there is no use turning on the television and waiting for the weather forecast. All you need to know is available on the internet. Besides, you can have the most up-to-date news because all the news on the internet is updating every minute, every hour.
Internet is a source of entertainment. You do not have to buy a radio, television, mp3 player or, etc. There are a lot of site that provide free music to all the people who want to hear music online. There are also many web sites that allow people to download various movie free of cost. Moreover, so many available sites that have free internet games that people can play. With internet, you will not be shy of making friends any more. There are various chat forum which help people from all over the world make friends, relaxing, sharing everything they could not share in real life.
Perhaps it is not absolutely true when I say that internet is the most important invention. However, each invention has its own usefulness, the degree of importance of each invention depends on how people think it benefit their needs.
